I think I'd been listening to a little too much Brad Paisley when this came out. Still, it was only mildly humorous until Chad started spouting profane things (like being from Idaho, apparently) all over the track.
It was nice, on these five newer songs, to have both Darin Wirth's bass playing and his excellent high harmonies on everything. That adds a lot to the songs.
Also Al's right at home here with the Chet Atkins-style pickin' and grinnin'.
